LGBT Issues
I specialize in working with gay and bisexual men addressing identity issues,
relationships and intimacy, sexuality, body image, HIV, family issues, and the
anxiety and depression often associated with difficulty in these areas. I also
specialize in working with gay male couples.
Experience
Worked as a gay-identified counselor at the UC Berkeley Counseling Center for two years.
Facilitated groups for gay and bisexual male college students at UC Berkeley for two years.
Co-facilitated a group for gay and bisexual male college students at Stanford University.
Training
New Leaf - Men's Mental Health Program
New Leaf is the primary mental health agency for the gay, lesbian, bisexual and
transgender populations in San Francisco. New Leaf serves a multicultural population
with a wide variety of issues including HIV infection, panic disorders, depression,
surviving sexual abuse, and substance abuse.

HIV Research - AIDS Response Program (ARP) - Garden Grove, California
Participated in data collection, literature searches, statistical analysis,
and presentation of research on the prevention of HIV.
Poster Presenter - Society of Behavioral Medicine
Presented a poster regarding AIDS Response Program research investigating
the relationship between Rotter's health locus of control (HLOC) and the adoption and
maintenance of safe sex behavior in gay and bisexual men.
